Carmellius is a female veiled chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus) whom I bought for myself as a birthday gift
on October 10th, 2002. Carm is suspicious of everyone and everything. I'm really not kidding about that. If you
want a pet that will constantly make you feel like a horrible person for even walking in the same room they're in,
get a chameleon. <3
I built her cage myself, out of wood, with soft insect screening for the sides and hardware cloth on the top,
which lets through plenty of light and heat. I promise, it's a lot bigger than it looks in that one picture. The
pothos pot is REALLY BIG.
Carm glares at the plant suspiciously too.
